Tacitry connects to Apollo via BYO API key and enriches cold senders (title, company, seniority, headcount) inline at draft time. Gated to draft-eligible inbounds only — bulk and auto-replied traffic never burn your credits. When an inbound comes from someone you have never emailed, the draft is bad by default because Tacitry has no history. Apollo fills the gap. Inline at draft time, gated to draft-eligible inbounds only so we are not burning your credits on auto-replies or unsubscribed bulk traffic.

What Apollo data flows into Tacitry?

  • Title and seniority of the inbound sender.
  • Company name, industry, headcount band.
  • NOT injected into the prompt: Apollo's intent score, LinkedIn URL, phone number — those stay UI-only.

What does Tacitry do with Apollo data?

  • Distinguishes a CEO of a 5-person company from a CEO of a 5000-person one in the draft tone.
  • Skips enrichment when the sender is already in your contacts (no wasted credit).
  • Pre-warms only AFTER the suppression check — bulk and auto-replied traffic never hits Apollo.
Tacitry + Apollo live in every draft. Setup takes about a day.

How do I connect Apollo to Tacitry?

  1. Generate an Apollo API key with read access.
  2. Paste it in /settings/connectors → Apollo. Tacitry validates with a test call and stores it encrypted.
  3. Enrichment runs only on cold senders, only at draft time.

Frequently asked

How much will it cost?
Apollo's API charges per credit; Tacitry uses ~1 credit per cold sender enrichment. Suppression gating means bulk traffic never hits Apollo, so the bill stays small.
What if my key hits rate limits?
Tacitry classifies 429 as rate-limited (not auth-failed), backs off, and drafts without enrichment. Your connector stays connected.
Can I scope it to certain domains?
Not yet. The natural unit of suppression today is "is this a cold sender" — if you want vendor-level allow/deny lists, that is on the roadmap.
