Tacitry connects to Hunter via BYO API key and verifies sender deliverability plus pulls domain context inline at draft time. ~100ms lookup, no background sync. Hunter's lookups answer two adjacent questions: is this address deliverable, and what do we know about the domain? Tacitry uses both at draft time — a draft sent to a half-typo'd address is worse than no draft, and domain context (size, industry) helps tone match.
What Hunter data flows into Tacitry?
- Email deliverability score (valid, accept-all, invalid).
- Domain context: company name, industry, technologies.
- NOT injected into the prompt: Hunter's confidence_score — UI-only.
What does Tacitry do with Hunter data?
- Flags drafts where the reply-to address looks undeliverable so you do not waste the send.
- Adjusts tone when domain context says "enterprise" vs "five-person startup".
Tacitry + Hunter live in every draft. Setup takes about a day.

Frequently asked
- What if Hunter is down?
- We drop the lookup for this draft and enqueue a backfill for next time. Drafts never block on a Hunter call.
- Does it cost extra?
- Hunter's free tier (25 lookups/mo) gets most users started. Higher volumes scale on your Hunter plan, not ours.
