Tacitry is an AI email assistant for chief deputies and government staff — it drafts protocol-heavy coordination replies in your voice, RSVPs to meetings with real availability, and sends to trusted counterparts on its own once judgment converges. Chief deputies, legislative directors, and senior government staff carry a specific kind of inbox: high volume, protocol-sensitive, mostly coordination — confirm a meeting, decline a request politely, forward an inquiry to the right office, RSVP an invitation. The judgment-heavy work is your day; the coordination work is the tax. Tacitry pays the tax.

The protocol traffic, handled

Confirms that sound right. Declines that close the door politely and on-tone. Forwards that include the two lines of context the receiving office actually needs. Acknowledgments that match the warmth of the original ask. Tacitry drafts all of them in your voice; you tap to send what you want sent.

Calendar invites with real availability

Every meeting request hits your calendar before the draft. The accept or decline references real availability, proposes alternates when you are double-booked, and respects the recurrence rules of standing meetings. You stop being the bottleneck on "can we do 2pm Thursday."

Voice that survives forwarded chains

When a constituent or counterpart inquiry gets forwarded into your inbox, Tacitry maintains your voice on the reply even when the upstream thread had three different writers. The recipient still feels like they got an answer from your office, not a generic acknowledgment.

On the boring end: unsubscribes, newsletters, list traffic

Tacitry recognizes RFC 3834 auto-replies, list traffic, and unsubscribe-able newsletters and never drafts a "real" reply to them. The inbox stays trim without you doing the trimming.

Frequently asked

Is this safe for a government inbox?
CASA Tier 2 verification, gmail.modify (not readonly), no bulk inbox sync, 90-day retention on drafts, RLS on every database table. Architecture-level details in our privacy policy and security page.
Can my principal's inbox use this?
If they want it, yes. Many CoS-style setups have the principal authorize the OAuth and operate from the staff view.
What about FOIA-able correspondence?
Every autonomous send is logged with the same headers as a manual send, the body is searchable in Gmail, and the audit trail in Tacitry shows when and why each send happened. You are no less auditable than a manual send.
Will it learn the right tone for a constituent reply vs an inter-office reply?
Yes — voice learns per-thread and per-recipient. Two corrections on a constituent draft and a few on inter-office; the right warmth becomes the default.
